Can you help get the word out: Pro-Life Doctor Needed

The Plattsburgh Pregnancy Center is searching for an OB/GYN doctor in support of its ultrasound imaging program. Ultrasound technicians are willing to volunteer time at the center, but for several years a pro-life OB/GYN doctor has been needed to oversee the imaging program. Doctors, Plattsburgh, NY is in a beautiful area on Lake Champlain. The Adirondack Mountains are nearby. The largest employer is the University of Vermont Health Network at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital. The State University of New York, Plattsurgh campus is here.

The Pregnancy Center will freely share the services of their volunteer receptionist, and volunteer ultrasound techs and the doctor's clients may use the Center's waiting room with amenities. The doctor would be charged only $1.00 a month for the rent of the doctor's office which is furnished with an exam table, ultrasound machine, and other furniture.

Plattsburgh is a growing community in need of a pro-life doctor willing to set up an office here. He/she may charge appropriate fees for all services except for ultrasounds. Since a volunteer sonographer will do the ultrasounds and the pregnancy center is providing the machine and exam table, clients should not be charged for ultrasounds.

There are OB/GYN practices already in the area. The right individual could do well in a new practice or join an existing group and have a branch office at the pregnancy center which is located next to Planned Parenthood. You’d be helping women at a very tense time while making a contribution to our community and your professional and personal growth.

If you are interested, contact Kitty St. Denis at the center. Office hours are Mon.-Fri. 10am to 4pm. Call: 518.324.2010 to make arrangements for a visit. Thank you.
